Mr. Samuel is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Board and Special Committee Advisory practice, focused on assisting boards, special committees, and management teams in assessing the financial terms of transactions relating to matters of fairness, solvency, and valuation. He is based in the firm's New York office.
Mr. Samuel has provided valuation advisory services to clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to private companies, individuals, and nonprofits involving a variety of transactions, including M&A, restructurings, spin-offs, recapitalizations, and related party deals. His projects have been used to facilitate transactions, support positions of fairness and solvency, and provide guidance to state and federal regulatory agencies.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Samuel was a Manager in the transaction opinions practice of Grant Thornton, where he focused on the management and execution of fairness opinions, solvency opinions, and other board advisory projects.
Mr. Samuel holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Saint Joseph’s University.
