Mr. Doshi is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business, focusing on the media, sports, and entertainment industries. His experience involves valuing publicly and privately held equity and debt securities for various purposes, including financial and tax reporting, gift and estate tax assessments, ESOPs, litigation and disputes, as well as solvency evaluations and transaction opinions. Mr. Doshi has worked extensively with prominent media and entertainment companies, including numerous professional sports franchises across various leagues. He is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Doshi served as a Strategy and Transaction Associate at Grant Thornton LLP, where he specialized in valuing complex financial instruments, including warrants, profit interests, convertible debt, options, earnouts, and equity with complex capital structures, for companies across various industries. He was also responsible for performing valuations for 409A purposes.
Before Grant Thornton LLP, Mr. Doshi worked as an Associate in BDO India LLP’s Transaction Advisory Group, performing valuations for investments held by private equity and venture capital funds. He also has experience in auditing and has performed statutory audits for both public and private companies.
Mr. Doshi holds an M.S. in Finance from the University of Rochester and an M.S. in Commerce from the University of Mumbai. He holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst and has successfully completed all exams required to become a Certified Public Accountant.
