Mr. Maqsood is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Capital Solutions Group. He is based in the firm’s Dubai office.
Previously, Mr. Maqsood was a Partner at Triago, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2024. He joined Triago in 2020 and ran its primary, secondary, directs, and strategic advisory business in the Middle East.
Prior to Triago, Mr. Maqsood was Chief Financial Officer at Towershare, a regional telecom infrastructure platform. Before that, he was a Managing Director at Sundrop Farms, a KKR portfolio company, where he oversaw strategy and business development in the MENA region. Previously, Mr. Maqsood was the Executive Director and Head of Private Equity at Al Murjan International Holding, a Saudi family office, where he was responsible for international private equity investments and portfolio management. He also served as Director and Co-Head of the Industrial Vertical at Istithmar World Capital and evaluated global private equity fund commitments and co-investments at Dubai International Capital, both UAE-based sovereign wealth funds.
Mr. Maqsood holds a B.S.B.A. from Georgetown University and an MBA from Harvard University. He has also completed the General Course at the London School of Economics.
