Mr. Maqsood is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Private Funds Group. He is based in the firm’s Dubai office.
Previously, Mr. Maqsood was a Partner at Triago, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2024. He joined Triago in 2020 and ran its primary, secondary, and strategic advisory in the Middle East.
Prior to Triago, Mr. Maqsood was Chief Financial Officer at Towershare. Before that, he was Managing Director at Sundrop Farms, where he oversaw strategy operations and business development in the MENA region. Previously, Mr. Maqsood was the Executive Director & Head of Private Equity at Al Murjan International Holding, where he was responsible for international private equity investments and portfolio management. He also served as Director and Co-Head of the Industrial Vertical at Istithmar World Capital and evaluated global private equity fund commitments and co-investments at Dubai International Capital.
Mr. Maqsood holds an MBA from Harvard and a B.S.B.A. from Georgetown University. He has also completed the General Course at the London School of Economics.
