Mr. Gilbert is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice within the firm’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business. He focuses on providing buyside and sellside financial due diligence and advisory services to private equity and corporate clients across a variety of sectors, including industrials, infrastructure, and business services. Mr. Gilbert is based in the firm’s Dallas office.
Mr. Gilbert has a diverse array of experience, including leading numerous domestic and cross-border acquisitions, divestitures, and carve-out transactions with deal sizes ranging from $10 million to $1 billion in enterprise value. His transaction due diligence experience covers a wide range of M&A issues, including quality of earnings, net working capital, net indebtedness, strategic value drivers, operational synergies, and purchase agreement support.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Gilbert was a Manager in Deloitte’s Financial Due Diligence practice and previously a Senior Auditor in Ernst & Young’s Audit practice.
Mr. Gilbert holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Oklahoma. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.
