Kreg Jackson
Managing Director Global Co-Head of Financial and Valuation AdvisoryMr. Jackson is a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Houlihan Lokey’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business and a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. He has more than two decades of experience providing financial advisory services to public and private clients in connection with strategic alternatives assessments, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, spinoffs, and going-private transactions; leveraged ESOP buyout transactions; and capital-raising activities (senior, mezzanine and equity). Mr. Jackson also renders fairness, solvency, and transaction-related opinions to companies, boards of directors, special committees, financial institutions, and independent fiduciaries. He is based in the firm’s Chicago office.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Jackson spent seven years with a Chicago-based financial institution as a commercial loan officer, serving privately held middle-market clients.
Mr. Jackson speaks frequently on valuation, capital markets, and financial issues at corporate symposiums and seminars. He is a member of the National ESOP Association’s Finance Committee and a former member of its Valuation Advisory Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Big Shoulders Fund.
Mr. Jackson holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, receiving an MBA in Analytical Finance and Economics.
