Mr. Benshimon is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group. He is based in the firm’s Paris office.
Mr. Benshimon’s restructuring advisory experience includes advising major parties in interest on AccorInvest, Pierre & Vacances, Vallourec, Technicolor, Bourbon, Groupe Latécoère, Vivarte, JOA Groupe, Camaïeu, Winoa, Groupe Moniteur, Terreal, Orco Property Group, Novasep, Frans Bonhomme, CMA CGM, Consolis, Meritor Inc. (formerly ArvinMeritor), Deutsch Group, Monier Group, CPI Group, Akerys, Eurotunnel, Euro Disney S.C.A., Alstom, Genesys Conferencing, Infogrames Entertainment, and LVL Médical Groupe.
Mr. Benshimon’s M&A advisory experience includes the sale of Genesys Conferencing to West Corp. following the company’s financial restructuring; the acquisition of 67% of Camaïeu on behalf of Cinven; the sale of Deutsch Group to Wendel Investissement; the disposal of Vittorio Cecchi Gori’s stake in Telemontecarlo (TMC) to Telecom Italia; the leveraged buyout of Findexa Forlag (formerly Telenor Media) by Texas Pacific Group; and the privatization of Thomson on behalf of Agence France Trésor.
Mr. Benshimon’s capital-raising experience includes the issuance by Infogrames Entertainment of €150 million ORNANEs; the IPO of Recoletos Compañia Editorial; a high-yield offering for Antenna TV; and an €800 million senior credit facility to ONO.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Benshimon was a Senior Associate at Salomon Smith Barney/Citigroup in London.
