Mr. Cripps is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, with a particular focus on the industrials sector. He specializes in providing financial due diligence and general M&A advisory to private equity firms and corporates in the industrials, business services, infrastructure, technology, and consumer verticals. Mr. Cripps is based in the firm’s Boston office.
Mr. Cripps has extensive M&A experience across a range of scenarios, including platform investments, synergistic add-ons, carve-outs, cross-border transactions, and exit preparation. He specializes in evaluating a company’s key financial and operational business drivers, quality of earnings, net working capital, and cash generation, as well as supporting clients in pricing negotiations and advising on EV to equity bridges and sale and purchase agreements.
Mr. Cripps has advised on transactions with enterprise values ranging from less than $10 million to more than $1 billion and has advised on deals in the United Kingdom, North America, and Continental Europe.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Cripps was a Director in Interpath Advisory’s M&A practice, and he previously held roles at Alvarez and Marsal and EY in the Transaction Advisory Groups. He has also worked in a corporate development role and has a strong grasp of financial modeling and valuations.
Mr. Cripps holds a B.A. (Hons) from Trinity College Dublin and an M.A. in Economics from University College London. He is a Chartered Accountant in Scotland.
