Ms. Liu is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. She focuses on providing buyside and sellside financial due diligence and advisory services to private equity and strategic clients across a variety of sectors, including technology, IT infrastructure, media and entertainment, and services-based businesses with recurring revenue dynamics. Ms. Liu is based in the firm’s New York office.
Ms. Liu has a diverse array of experience, including leading and participating in numerous domestic and cross-border acquisitions, divestitures, and carve-out transactions with deal sizes ranging from $10 million to $1.0 billion in enterprise value. Her transaction due diligence experience covers a wide range of M&A issues, including quality of earnings, net working capital, net indebtedness, strategic value drivers, operational synergies, and purchase agreement support.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Ms. Liu was a Senior Associate at Ernst & Young, where she focused on the FinTech and insurtech sectors. Throughout her career, she has cultivated a strong interest and trajectory in emerging technologies, such as tech-enabled services, interactive entertainment, immersive tech, robotics, and AI-enabled solutions, and continues to build expertise as part of her broader technology-focused advisory work.
Ms. Liu earned a B.S. in Finance and an M.S. in Accounting from New York University and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of New York.
