Ms. Liu is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice within the firm’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business. She focuses on providing buyside and sellside financial due diligence and advisory services to private equity and strategic clients across a variety of sectors, including technology, IT infrastructure, media and entertainment, and services-based businesses with recurring revenue dynamics. Ms. Liu is based in the firm’s New York office.
Ms. Liu has a diverse array of experience, including leading and participating in numerous domestic and cross-border acquisitions, divestitures, and carve-out transactions with deal sizes ranging from $10 million to $1.0 billion in enterprise value. Her transaction due diligence experience covers a wide range of M&A issues, including quality of earnings, net working capital, net indebtedness, strategic value drivers, operational synergies, and purchase agreement support.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Ms. Liu was a Senior Associate at Ernst & Young, where she focused on the FinTech and insurtech sectors. Throughout her career, she has cultivated a strong interest and trajectory in emerging technologies, such as tech-enabled services, interactive entertainment, immersive tech, robotics, and AI-enabled solutions, and continues to build expertise as part of her broader technology-focused advisory work.
Ms. Liu earned a B.S. in Finance and an M.S. in Accounting from New York University and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of New York.
