Mr. Chesney is a Vice President in the Oil & Gas Group within Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group. He has nearly a decade of energy finance experience. Mr. Chesney is based in the firm's Houston office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Chesney was a Director with Opportune LLP, an energy advisory firm based in Houston. Before Opportune, he was in the strategic planning and business development groups at Oasis Petroleum (now Chord Energy). Earlier, Mr. Chesney was with Wells Fargo Energy Capital, where he was responsible for financial modeling, due diligence, execution, and monitoring of the group’s direct equity investments and mezzanine loans to the upstream and midstream sectors.
Mr. Chesney holds a B.B.A. in Accounting & Finance from the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.
