Mr. Vedi is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Opinions practice. He focuses on assisting boards of directors, special committees, and management teams in assessing several aspects of transactions and corporate governance issues and providing fairness, solvency, and other valuation opinions. Mr. Vedi is based in the firm’s Houston office.
Mr. Vedi has significant experience in the energy industry, having worked on board and special committee advisory and transaction opinions as well as a number of investment banking engagements spanning sellside M&A (corporate and carve-out), buyside M&A, initial public offerings (IPO), follow-on equity, and high-yield offerings. His energy transaction experience includes the exploration and production, onshore and offshore oil field services, downstream, and midstream verticals.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Vedi was a member of the industrial and energy investment banking team at Ernst & Young (EY). Prior to EY, he was part of Credit Suisse’s energy investment banking team.
Mr. Vedi holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and an MBA from Rice University.
