Mr. Reule is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Capital Solutions Group. He is based in the firm’s London office with responsibility for real estate capital advisory in Europe. Mr. Reule focuses on debt advisory, structured finance, liability management, and strategic advisory. He is based in the firm’s London office.
Previously, Mr. Reule was a Founding Partner at Mellum Capital, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in January 2026.
Prior to setting up Mellum Capital in 2021, Mr. Reule joined Brookfield Financial (BFIN) in 2016 to set up the firm’s global financial institutions advisory practice. He subsequently held senior roles at BFIN, including as global Chief Operating Officer and as Managing Partner with responsibility for European investment banking. His experience also includes a 16-year career at The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, where he served in several senior roles managing teams and businesses in the U.K., Germany, and Italy, including as Managing Director Financial Institutions Advisory & Structuring, as Managing Director Asset-Backed Finance Europe, and as Co-Head of Secured Debt EMEA.
Mr. Reule started his career at Landesbank Baden-Württemberg. He qualified as a financial professional (Bankkaufmann) in Germany and studied Business Administration at the universities of Tübingen and Edinburgh.
