Mr. Aleñar is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Capital Markets Group. His primary responsibilities include working with the firm’s clients to raise debt capital to support general corporate purposes, recapitalisations, leveraged buyouts, growth capital, restructurings, and acquisitions. He is based in the firm’s London office.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Aleñar spent circa four years at Credit Suisse in the Leveraged Finance and Sponsors Group, focusing on executing leveraged finance transactions for both corporate and sponsor clients.
Recent lead left deals that Mr. Aleñar advised on prior to joining Houlihan Lokey include bond refinancing for Picard (2017), bond offering for Pro-Gest (2017), LBO financing for Esmalglass Itaca Grupo (2017), bond refinancing of Grupo Cortefiel (2017), loan refinancing for Socotec Group (2017), LBO financing for NewDay (2017), and bond refinancing for Guala Closures (2016).
Mr. Aleñar holds an MBA from London Business School, a master’s degree in Financial Markets from Instituto de Estudios Bursatiles, and an LLB in Law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
