Mr. Miyauchi is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Consumer Group and a member of HL Succession. He is based in the firm’s Tokyo office.
Previously, Mr. Miyauchi worked for GCA Corporation, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2021. Before that, he was an M&A advisor at M3. Prior to M3, Mr. Masanori was an M&A advisor at Deloitte and Nomura Securities and worked for PwC.
Mr. Miyauchi has advised on various deals, including the sale of Nihon Bungeisha, a subsidiary of ADK, to RIZAP GROUP; Toyota Tsusho’s acquisition of a strategic stake in Orocobre, a successful Australia-based lithium mining company; the sale of Bunkyodo HD, a subsidiary of DNP, to Nippon Shuppan Hanbai; and the sale of multiple medical institutions, such as hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes, to major Japanese medical corporation groups.
Mr. Miyauchi graduated from Keio University with a degree in Commerce and is a licensed CPA in Japan.
