Mr. Freese is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group. He specializes in financial restructuring, liability management, M&A, and financing transactions across multiple industries, including technology, telecommunications, software, consumer, and healthcare. Mr. Freese is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
Mr. Freese has advised companies and creditors on a range of in-court and out-of-court transactions, including Accelerate Diagnostics, HDT Global, Lannett, Lifescan, Mobileum, and Tangelo.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Freese was a member of Citigroup’s Liability Management Group in New York, where he advised corporate and sovereign bond issuers on debt optimization strategies. Notable transaction experience with Citigroup includes Windstream, Mexico City Airport Trust, Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy, and Occidental Petroleum.
Mr. Freese holds a B.S. in Business, with a focus on Finance, from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
