Mr. Darling is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Private Funds Group, where he focuses on private equity GP advisory. He is based in the firm’s New York office.
Previously, Mr. Darling was an Associate at Freeman & Co., an independent advisory firm focused on providing M&A advisory, capital raising, and other investment banking advisory services to financial institutions clients, prior to its acquisition by Houlihan Lokey in 2019.
While at Freeman & Co., Mr. Darling was a member of the M&A and Advisory Services practice, focusing his efforts on transactions in the asset management, broker-dealer, and financial technology sectors.
Mr. Darling holds a B.B.A. in Finance, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Mathematics, from the College of William & Mary.
