Mr. Kempler is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Services Group. He has more than two decades of international experience in corporate development, strategy, and M&A. Mr. Kempler is based in the firm’s New York office.
Previously, Mr. Kempler was a Director at Park Sutton Advisors, a Waller Helms Company, prior to Houlihan Lokey’s acquisition of Waller Helms Advisors in 2024. While there, he advised wealth and asset managers on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raises.
Prior to Park Sutton Advisors, Mr. Kempler founded Baroudr LLC, a consulting firm that helps businesses fine-tune their strategies, raise institutional capital, execute M&A, build financial controls, and implement business processes. Before that, he spent 15 years at Ansell Ltd. (ASX:ANN), where he led strategy and M&A, completing transactions in North America, Europe, and Asia with an aggregate valuation of more than $1 billion.
Mr. Kempler holds a B.S. in Communications from the SI Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and an MBA, with distinction, from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
