Mr. Cornish is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Services Group with a focus on insurance services sector coverage. He has worked on a wide variety of engagements across multiple industries and asset classes, including insurance, life settlements, minority equity, nonperforming loans, and private equity and hedge fund LP interests. He is based in the firm’s New York office.
Mr. Cornish has worked on behalf of clients including Guardian Life, The Ardonagh Group, State Auto Financial Corporation, TSG Consumer, Cerberus, The Bank of New York Mellon, Davidson Kempner, Babcock & Brown, and Obra, as either a sellside or buyside advisor or as a financial advisor in highly structured transactions.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Cornish worked at Ernst & Young LLP in its Valuation & Business Modeling practice with a focus on financial services and transaction opinions.
Mr. Cornish holds a B.S. in Accountancy, Business Administration, and Economics from Villanova University.
