Mr. Kaczmarek is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Consumer Group. His experience includes sellside and buyside M&A transactions, fairness opinions, and solvency analyses. Mr. Kaczmarek is based in the firm’s Chicago office.
Mr. Kaczmarek’s recent transactions include the sale of Milk Specialties to American Securities; the sale of The Original Cakerie, Ltd. to Gryphon Investors; the sale of La Terra Fina USA, Inc. to HP Hood LLC; the sale of SkinnyPop Popcorn LLC to TA Associates; the sale of Maxi Canada, Inc. to Altamont Capital Partners; the sale of Niman Ranch to Perdue Farms; the sale of Medora Snacks, LLC to Permira Funds; the sale of Van’s Natural Foods to The Hillshire Brands Co.; the sale of Earthbound Farm to The WhiteWave Foods Co.; and the sale of The YoCrunch Co. to Danone.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Kaczmarek worked at Barclays Capital in London, where he advised a variety of corporations on M&A transactions, debt financings, and securitization transactions.
Mr. Kaczmarek graduated cum laude from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, and he earned his MBA in Finance with honors from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
