Mr. Gilbert is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Technology Group. He is based in the firm’s London office.
Previously, Mr. Gilbert worked for Oakley Advisory, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2023.
He has more than a decade of communications experience, with a particular focus on digital infrastructure, communications and online. During his time at Oakley Advisory, Mr. Gilbert advised on a range of public and private transactions, including DigitalBridge’s acquisition of telecom towers from Syn and Nova in Iceland; Cellnex’s acquisition of Cignal Infrastructure; the sale of Manx Telecom to Basalt Infrastructure Partners; and the merger of Just Eat and Takeaway.com.
Before that, Mr. Gilbert spent three years with New Street Research as a TMT Equity Analyst, specialising in the coverage of European telecom operators, towers, and the wider digital infrastructure market. He also spent five years with KPMG in its London and Channel Island offices.
Mr. Gilbert earned a BA in Business Accounting from the University of Exeter and holds an ACA qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
