Mr. Mangold is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group, focusing on special situations. He has worked on major restructuring mandates such as Takko, Euroports, TUI, Benteler, Wirecard, Steinhoff, SolarWorld, Jack Wolfskin, and Bartec, among others. Furthermore, Mr. Mangold worked on distressed M&A transactions such as the MBO of Eastern Airways and the breakups of Hamm Reno and HTI High Tech Industries. His transaction experience also includes debt advisory mandates such as the financing of Grünenthal’s acquisition of Nexium and Vimovo from AstraZeneca. Mr. Mangold is based in the firm’s Frankfurt office.
Mr. Mangold holds a B.A. from Zeppelin University and an M.Sc. from the University of St Andrews.
