Michael Bett

Director

Mr. Bett is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business. He has been active on a number of valuation engagements and focuses on transaction opinions, including both fairness and solvency opinions. Mr. Bett has worked with both public and private companies across many industries and has advised boards of directors, special committees, and other fiduciaries in a wide variety of situations, including leveraged recapitalizations, mergers and acquisitions, spinoffs, asset sales, stock repurchases, and equity financing transactions. Mr. Bett is based in the firm’s Chicago office.

Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Bett was a Vice President with Bank of America’s Enterprise Valuations Group, performing business enterprise valuations primarily on highly leveraged companies across a variety of industries. He also worked as a commercial loan officer performing credit analysis on privately held, middle-market companies. 

Mr. Bett holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
