Mr. Hakimi is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business, where he is active in the firm’s Fund Opinions practice. He focuses primarily on assisting private equity firms, alternative asset managers, hedge funds, limited partners, management teams, and other constituents in evaluating transactions and understanding critical transaction issues. Mr. Hakimi is experienced in providing financial advice, fairness opinions, and business and general securities valuations in connection with a variety of situations, including continuation fund transactions, fund-to-fund transfers, and cross-fund transactions, among others. He is based in the firm’s New York office.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Hakimi was an Associate in the Investment Banking Group at Bryant Park Capital and was an Analyst in the Investment Banking Group at Brean Capital, where he worked closely with management teams across several industries on a variety of engagements such as equity and debt capital raises, sellside and buyside M&A transactions, and general advisory services.
Mr. Hakimi holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
