Mr. Monaco is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. He focuses on providing buyside and sellside financial due diligence and advisory services to both private equity and corporate clients across a variety of sectors, including the industrials, business services, and retail sectors. Mr. Monaco is based in the firm’s New York office.
Mr. Monaco has a diverse array of experience, including leading numerous domestic and cross-border acquisitions, divestitures, and carve-out transactions. His transaction due diligence experience covers a wide range of M&A issues, including quality of earnings, net working capital, net indebtedness, strategic value drivers, operational synergies, and purchase agreement support.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Monaco was a Manager in KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice, where he performed financial due diligence. Before joining the KPMG Deal Advisory practice, he was with KPMG’s audit practice, where he primarily focused on audits within the retail and consumer goods sector.
Mr. Monaco holds a B.S. in Accounting from Quinnipiac University and is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
