Mr. von Bodman is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Consumer Group, focusing on consumer health as well as wellness and beauty. He is based in the firm’s Munich office.
Previously, Mr. von Bodman was a Managing Director at GCA Altium, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2021. Prior to joining GCA, he was with DC Advisory (previously Close Brothers Corporate Finance) in Frankfurt and London. Mr. von Bodman joined DC Advisory in 2003 and became a Managing Director in 2012. He has advised on more than 75 transactions (M&A and fundraising mandates) in various European jurisdictions. As Head of the German Financial Sponsors Group at DC Advisory, Mr. von Bodman was also responsible for private equity clients within the German-speaking region. Before he joined DC Advisory, he worked for Siemens in South Africa, UBS in Switzerland, and the Korea Exchange Bank in South Korea.
Mr. von Bodman holds a dual degree (Dipl. Betriebswirt (FH)/MBA) from Fachhochschule Reutlingen and Portland State University.
