Mr. Azhar is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business. He specializes in portfolio valuations and has several years of experience in the financial services industry, including valuing privately held businesses and assets across industries and geographies for portfolio valuation, financial reporting, and general corporate planning purposes. Mr. Azhar is based in the firm’s Dallas office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Azhar worked at IHS Markit for five years as an Associate Director in the portfolio valuations business, where he provided portfolio valuation services across multiple asset classes to clients based in North America. Additional prior experience includes working as a Credit Analyst at BMO Transportation Finance and an Investment Banking Associate at United Bank Limited.
Mr. Azhar holds a B.B.A. from the Institute of Business Administration in Karachi, Pakistan, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business.
