Mr. Li is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group. He is primarily focused on financial restructuring transactions in Asia. Mr. Li is based in the firm’s Hong Kong office.
Mr. Li has worked on a number of restructuring and distressed engagements advising both debtors and creditors across a wide range of industries. His recent transactions include China Evergrande, China Evergrande New Energy Vehicle, iQIYI, Fantasia, Modern Land, Yestar Healthcare, Huachen Energy, and GCL New Energy.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Li worked at Cowell & Lee Capital Management, a credit hedge fund focused on distressed debt opportunities in Asia. He also worked at S&P Global Ratings as a Credit Rating Analyst in Hong Kong.
Mr. Li holds a B.B.A. from the Ivey Business School’s HBA Program at the University of Western Ontario. He also attended Tsinghua University in Beijing. Mr. Li is a CFA charterholder.
