Mr. Watson is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group. He specializes in financial restructuring, financing, liability management, and M&A, and his experience spans numerous industries, including the consumer, food, and retail; industrials; and aerospace and defense sectors. He is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
Mr. Watson advises debtors and creditors on a range of in-court and out-of-court restructuring transactions. His notable transactions include Sequa Corp., PHI, Inc., and The Rockport Group, LLC.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Watson was an Associate in BMO Capital Markets’ Leveraged Finance Group in Chicago. Prior to obtaining his MBA designation, he was a member of Ernst & Young’s Assurance Group in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Mr. Watson holds a B.A. in Business Economics and Accounting, with highest honors, from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He also holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with concentrations in Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Finance. Mr. Watson is a Certified Public Accountant and also obtained his Abitur designation in Germany. He is fluent in English and German.
