Nick Rettino

Vice President

Mr. Rettino is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Services Group, where he focuses on advising clients on M&A, capital raising, and other corporate finance engagements. He is based in the firm’s Chicago office.

Mr. Rettino’s transaction experience includes advising Liberty Mutual on its acquisition of State Auto Group, Carlyle on its sale of BenefitMall to Truist, Patra Corp. on its recapitalization by FTV Capital, S&S Health on its recapitalization by Lovell Minnick Partners, and Crouse and Associates on its sale to Ryan Specialty. 

Previously, Mr. Rettino was a Vice President at Waller Helms Advisors, an independent specialist investment banking firm, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2024. While there, Mr. Rettino was involved in M&A advisory assignments across the intersection of the insurance, healthcare services, and wealth management sectors. 

Prior to joining Waller Helms, Mr. Rettino completed two internships with the firm. He also completed an internship with Fiducient Advisors, an institutional investment consulting firm with more than $330 billion in assets under advisement and management.

Mr. Rettino holds a B.B.A. in Finance, as well as a supplementary major in Spanish, from the University of Notre Dame.
