Mr. Way
is a
Senior Vice President in
the Real
Estate Valuation and Advisory Services practice within Houlihan
Lokey’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business. He is based in the firm’s Dallas office.
Mr. Way has over 12 years of experience in
commercial real estate and fixed income valuation for financial reporting (fair
value and business combination accounting), tax reporting, and other purposes.
In addition, Mr. Way is experienced with financial and commercial due diligence
and strategic consulting for real estate investors and occupiers. His
experience spans both public and private, domestic and international clients,
including financial institutions, REITs, government entities, Fortune 500
companies, private equity firms, and private investors.
Mr.
Way has led teams on valuation, model integrity, governance structures,
financial reporting/operating risk assessment, and transaction advisory
engagements across all major property types, with an emphasis on the
hospitality sector.
Prior
to joining
Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Way
served as a Director in
PwC’s
Financial Markets – Real Estate group.
Mr.
Way holds a B.A.
from
Franklin & Marshall College and both an MSA
and an
MBA from
Northeastern University.
He
is a Certified
Public Accountant licensed
in Massachusetts and Texas and a
member
of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Nariet,
and the Urban Land
Institute.
