Mr. Nigro is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Oil & Gas Group and has extensive energy sector experience in the Middle East and Europe. He is based in the firm's Dubai office.
Mr. Nigro has nearly a decade of investment banking experience in the Middle East. Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, he worked with Rothschild’s M&A practice in the UAE and has completed many energy assignments for clients such as sovereign wealth funds and national oil companies.
Notable mandates before joining Houlihan Lokey include advising Mubadala on the disposal of a 67% stake in Masdar to Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC); Snam, in a consortium with major international institutional investors (GIP, Brookfield, GIC, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, NH Investment & Securities), on the acquisition of a 49% stake in Abu Dhabi National Oil Company’s gas pipeline assets; Abu Dhabi Development Holding (ADQ) and Abu Dhabi Pension Fund (ADPF) on their 20% investment in ADNOC’s 51% stake in ADNOC’s gas pipeline assets; and ADNOC on its strategy in expanding its international presence in the liquefied natural gas market.
Mr. Nigro holds an M.S. in Finance from Bocconi University in Milan.
