Mr. Ludwigson is a Managing Director specializing in advising clients on sellside and buyside M&A, strategic alternative assessment, and capital markets solutions. He is based in Houlihan Lokey's Sydney office.
Mr. Ludwigson has nearly two decades of investment banking experience in corporate advisory. His career has included roles in New York, Melbourne, London, and Sydney. Mr. Ludwigson joined Houlihan Lokey from CIMB Group, where he was the Head of Investment Banking in Australia. Prior to CIMB, he was the Head of TMT APAC at Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), where he focused primarily on M&A and equity capital markets. Mr. Ludwigson has worked in the Sydney and London offices for CIMB, RBS, and ABN AMRO. Previously, he worked at Credit Suisse First Boston and Citigroup.
Mr. Ludwigson has advised a number of leading Australian and Asian clients on specific M&A transactions as well as provided general strategic advice. He is a trusted advisor to a range of clients across multiple sectors and has public and private company transaction experience. Recent advisory mandates Mr. Ludwigson has completed include advising Archer Capital on its acquisition of Dun & Bradstreet ANZ; advising on the sale of Tigerlily for Billabong; advising on the privatization of Autohome (China); and advising NextDC on its $220 million capital raising.
Mr. Ludwigson holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University.
