Mr. Lenihan is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Environmental Services team within the Business Services Group. He has nearly a decade of investment banking experience. Mr. Lenihan is based in the firm’s New York office.
Mr. Lenihan’s selected environmental services transaction experience at Houlihan Lokey includes advising Coastal Waste & Recycling on its sale to Macquarie Asset Management, AmWaste on its growth investment from 3i Infrastructure Partners, VLS Environmental Solutions on its sale to I Squared Capital, CIRCON Holdings on its sale to Covanta, Envirosafe Services of Ohio on its sale to Heritage-Crystal Clean, VLS Environmental Solutions on its acquisition of Texas Molecular, and SK Capital on its acquisition of Milestone Environmental Services.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Lenihan was an Associate in the Restructuring team at Stephens Inc., where he focused on major transactions involving financially distressed companies, both in bankruptcy and out-of-court situations. While there, he was also cross-staffed on consumer M&A. Mr. Lenihan began his career as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where he worked with real estate, financial services, maritime, healthcare, technology, media, and industrial clients in leveraged finance and was promoted to Associate in 2020.
Mr. Lenihan holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a minor in Business Administration from Fordham University—Rose Hill. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
