Mr. Purcell is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Private Funds Group. He is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
Mr. Purcell was a Partner at Triago, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2024. He was hired to launch and run Triago’s San Diego office and focused on directs, fundraising, and secondaries. Previously, as a Managing Director at Eaton Partners, Mr. Purcell led the direct practice and played a leading role in numerous fundraisings. Earlier, he worked on both the buyside and sellside as an Assistant Vice President at Antares Capital and as an Investment Banking Associate at Duff & Phelps. Mr. Purcell also held corporate development positions at Fannie Mae and Illumina. He started his career at PwC.
Mr. Purcell holds a B.A. in Economics from Albion College and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
