Mr. Hoh is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Industrials Group. He has more than two decades of investment banking and private equity experience. Mr. Hoh’s industry coverage includes key market segments across industrial technology, with a primary focus on advanced components (connectors, power and electrical products, sensors, integrated circuits, and IoT-enabling components and systems) as well as environmental technologies (emissions control and air filtration/treatment). He is based in the firm’s New York office.
During his career, Mr. Hoh has advised both public and private companies on a broad range of transactions, including sellside and buyside M&A, complex corporate divestitures, joint ventures, and capital markets advisory. His notable deals include the sale of Taoglas to Graham Partners, the sale of Bulgin to Infinite Electronics, the sale of InCharge Energy to ABB, the sale of Royal Power Solutions to Eaton, the sale of Positronic to Amphenol, the acquisition of Gowanda Electronics by iNRCORE, the sale of Bacharach to FFL Partners, and the sale of Omega Engineering to Spectris.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Hoh was Head of Industrial Technology M&A at BMO Capital Markets, where he covered a wide range of industrial technology clients across a variety of subsectors, including electronic components, analytical instruments, automation, IoT/connectivity, and environmental technologies. Before that, he spent five years at Jefferies providing M&A advice to private equity and corporate clients with a focus on the broader industrials sector. Earlier, Mr. Hoh spent eight years identifying and leading leveraged buyout transactions for two private equity firms: Centre Partners Management and Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co. He began his career at Goldman Sachs.
