Ms. Nonomiya is a Managing Director and Head of Japan Corporate Finance at Houlihan Lokey. She has more than two decades of M&A advisory experience and five years of portfolio management experience. Ms. Nonomiya is based in the firm’s Tokyo office.
Previously, Ms. Nonomiya was a Managing Director and member of the board for GCA Corporation. Prior to GCA, she served as Business Development Leader for GE Capital Asia-Pacific, responsible for strategic portfolio management and M&A/partnerships.
Earlier, Ms. Nonomiya held the role of Managing Director of M&A at UBS Investment Bank, advising on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including acquisition financing, capital markets solutions, and equity capital solutions. She started her career as a U.S. Certified Public Accountant at KPMG LLP New York, where she eventually transferred to KPMG Corporate Finance, where she was promoted to Partner to support Japanese clients’ cross-border engagements.
Ms. Nonomiya graduated from Long Island University as Valedictorian and received her MBA from Columbia University. She serves on the board of directors of Shiseido Company Ltd. and Nagase & Co, Ltd.
