Mr. Teigman is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Houlihan Lokey’s Financial and Valuation Advisory (FVA) Energy and Infrastructure practice and a senior member of the Board Advisory and Opinions practice. He focuses on transaction opinions in which he assists boards of directors, special/conflicts committees, LPACs, and other constituents in evaluating proposals and understanding critical transaction issues. Mr. Teigman is also a member of the FVA ESG Task Force. He is based in the firm’s Houston office.
Mr. Teigman is a frequent speaker on economic and valuation issues pertaining to the energy sector, particularly in Texas, the Gulf Coast, Oklahoma, and Colorado. He is a member of the Greater Houston Partnership, where he sits on the Energy 2.0 committee.
Mr. Teigman has significant experience analyzing complex transactions, including conflict-prone situations involving issues of corporate governance. He has played an integral role in the rendering of numerous transaction opinions and special/conflicts committee advisory mandates related to mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, recapitalizations, spinoffs, and asset sales.
Mr. Teigman’s energy experience spans a broad array of subsectors, including E&P, midstream, refining/storage, chemicals, biofuels, retail/C-store, energy equipment and services, energy technology, carbon credits, and, increasingly, energy transition. Infrastructure experience—in addition to as it relates to energy—includes transportation and logistics, environmental services, and infra/climate technology.
Mr. Teigman holds a B.S. in Finance, with a minor in Accounting, from Lehigh University, where he graduated summa cum laude. He is a CFA charterholder.
