Mr. Sandahl is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Liability Management Group. With more than two decades of experience, he has worked on a wide variety of engagements, advising companies, creditors, financial sponsors, and other constituents in M&A, recapitalization, restructuring, and financing transactions. Mr. Sandahl is based in the firm’s Chicago office.
Mr. Sandahl’s selected transaction experience includes Hyperice, Singer Vehicle Design, Foster Farms, Convene, Cooper Standard, CSM Bakery, AppHarvest, Prima Wawona, Gawker Media, Heritage Home Group, Hexion, Momentive Performance Materials, TortoiseEcofin, Resolute Investment Management, Dean Foods (Dairy Farmers of America), Wells Dairy, AutoWeb, Pacific Monarch Resorts, J.L. French Automotive, Venator, Jason Industries, Gold Standard Baking, Phoenix Brands, Viant Technology, Alltran, Answers Corp., Quality Care Properties, and Westgate Resorts, among others.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Sandahl was an Associate in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ corporate finance group. Before that, he was an Analyst in Bank of America’s portfolio management group.
Mr. Sandahl holds a B.A. in Economics with a second major in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis.
