Mr. Smith is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. He specializes in providing both buyside and sellside financial accounting due diligence, along with advising clients on corporate carve-outs, in the financial services industry. Mr. Smith is based in the firm’s New York office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Smith worked in Ernst & Young’s transaction advisory practice, where he performed financial due diligence. Previously, Mr. Smith was with PwC’s audit practice, where he primarily focused on insurance and financial services.
Mr. Smith holds a B.S. in Accounting from The Ohio State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
