Mr. Kato is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Business Services Group, mainly covering the engineering and infrastructure and transportation and logistics sectors. He has more than 15 years of corporate finance experience in various types of domestic/cross-border M&A transactions. Mr. Kato is based in the firm’s Tokyo office.
Previously, Mr. Kato was an Executive Director at GCA Corporation, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2021. He joined GCA in 2007.
Mr. Kato holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Tokyo and is a Certified Public Accountant in Japan.
