Mr. Uppuluri is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business. He focuses on product strategy and portfolio valuation across whole loans, ABS, and illiquid assets. Mr. Uppuluri is based in the firm’s New York office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Uppuluri worked for multiple fintech startups as the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Risk and Analytics. Earlier, he served as Managing Director of Portfolio Management at MBIA Insurance and Director at Standard & Poor’s.
Mr. Uppuluri holds a B.Eng. from Osmania University, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Columbia Business School. He volunteers for Sewa International, a nonprofit organization.
