Mr. Palazzo is a Director in Houlihan Lokey's Corporate Finance business. He has more than a decade of experience providing a diverse range of clients with M&A and complex debt restructuring services across industry verticals including consumer products and industrials. He is based in the firm's Milan office.
Previously, Mr. Palazzo was a Director at Leonardo & Co., which entered into a joint venture with Houlihan Lokey in Italy and now operates under the Houlihan Lokey brand. Prior to Leonardo & Co., he spent one year in the Corporate Finance division of Ernst & Young Financial Business Advisors.
Mr. Palazzo’s prior transaction experience includes advising FILA on the €340 million acquisition of Pacon from Mason Wells and on the related €570 million financing and €100 million rights issue for the acquisition and refinancing of its outstanding debt; Italmobiliare on the €140 million acquisition of Caffè Borbone from the Renda family; Space2 on the €160 million business combination with Avio and subsequent listing on the Milan Stock Exchange; CLN on the €235 refinancing of its capital structure; BNP Paribas, Royal Bank of Scotland, Harbourmaster Capital Management, and UniCredit on the €2.8 billion debt restructuring of Seat Pagine Gialle; F2i on the €1.5 billion acquisition of the natural gas distribution business of Enel; and IFI on the €3.5 billion merger by incorporation of IFIL into IFI to create Exor.
Mr. Palazzo holds a B.A. and an M.Sc. in Economics from LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome.
