Mr. Karnik is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Industrials Group, with a nearly 25-year focus on covering industrial technology companies. His current focus encompasses automation and robotics, as well as water technologies and solutions, sectors in which the firm maintains global leadership in advisory activity. Mr. Karnik is based in the firm’s New York office.
During his career, Mr. Karnik has advised both public and private companies on a broad range of transactions, including sellside and buyside M&A, corporate divestitures, joint ventures, and growth equity private placements for both institutionally owned and founder-family-led companies. His noteworthy clients include Calvary Robotics, 80/20 Inc., Seegrid Robotics, Sharper Shape, and RedZone Robotics in automation and Grundfos, Saur Group, and EnviroTech in water technologies and solutions.
Prior to rejoining Houlihan Lokey in 2022, Mr. Karnik was Co-Head of the Industrial Technology Group at Capstone Partners. Earlier, he was Vice President at Duff & Phelps (now Kroll) and Houlihan Lokey.
