Mr. de Haan is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Sponsors Group. He is responsible for covering the firm’s financial sponsor clients in the Scandinavian and Benelux regions. Mr. de Haan has more than a decade of experience in M&A and debt advisory and has worked both on originating and executing deals. He is based in the firm’s Amsterdam office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. de Haan was a Director at Alantra in the Nordics, where he helped expand the firm’s business into Stockholm and Copenhagen as well as build the team in Amsterdam. He has covered technology, business services, healthcare, and the industrials sectors and has advised on numerous deals in those sectors, both in terms of M&A and debt advisory. Before joining Alantra, Mr. de Haan was an Analyst at Marlborough Partners, a specialized debt advisory boutique covering the Nordics and Benelux. Before that, he was an Analyst at Nomura and held various roles at ING.
Mr. de Haan holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Finance from the University of Amsterdam, including exchange semesters at the Polytechnic University in Hong Kong.
