Ms. Bhuta is a member of Houlihan Lokey’s Portfolio Valuation and Fund Advisory Services practice within the firm’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business. She has nearly a decade of valuation and advisory experience, providing a range of advisory services to alternative asset managers, including credit funds, hedge funds, and private equity and venture capital funds. Ms. Bhuta is based in the firm’s Mumbai office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Ms. Bhuta was a Deputy Manager in Deloitte’s International Valuation Advisory Services team in Mumbai, focusing on growth equity investments for private equity funds based in the U.K. She also worked as a Consultant at Duff & Phelps’ Portfolio Valuation practice, where she provided mark-to-market valuations across diverse portfolios of illiquid and privately held securities, including loans, bonds, convertibles, preferred equity, and equity.
Ms. Bhuta holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. She is also a CFA charterholder.
