Mr. Waltz is the Chief Marketing Officer for Houlihan Lokey. He is responsible for all elements of the firm’s marketing strategies, including events and conferences, digital and print communications, media relations, client and alumni relationship management, branding, and advertising. Under his leadership, Houlihan Lokey employs marketing strategies to accelerate the growth of its business globally. Mr. Waltz is based in the firm’s San Francisco office.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey in 2015, Mr. Waltz led strategic marketing efforts in a range of B2B and B2C industries. His more than two decades of experience include managing global branding for Apple at BBDO Worldwide and overseeing integrated, C-level marketing programs for Cisco, Oracle, and British Airways as Chief Marketing Officer at Miller/Huber. As the Executive Vice President of Marketing at Guthy-Renker, he was responsible for a $1.5 billion P&L. Mr. Waltz is also well versed in digital marketing, having served as the founding Vice President of Marketing at CNET as well as Chief Marketing Officer of AllBusiness.
Mr. Waltz holds a B.S. in Marketing from San Jose State University.
