Mr. Brant is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Private Funds Group, where he focuses on advising alternative asset managers on a range of strategic transactions, including GP minority and majority stake sales, succession planning, single-asset and multi-asset continuation funds, and LP tender sales. He is based in the firm’s New York office.
Prior to joining the Private Funds Group, Mr. Brant was a member of Houlihan Lokey’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business. He specialized in portfolio valuations with an emphasis on valuing illiquid debt, equity, and derivative investments for a wide range of alternative asset investors, including hedge funds, private equity funds, and business development companies.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Brant was an Analyst at Duff & Phelps and part of the Portfolio Valuation service line.
Mr. Brant graduated with high honors from Lehigh University with a B.S. in Finance. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA).
