Mr. Hew is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Technology Group, with a focus on digital infrastructure. He is based in the firm’s San Francisco office.
Mr. Hew provides M&A and capital-raising advisory for tower owners, small cell and in-building wireless operators, broadband infrastructure providers, and service providers supporting digital infrastructure assets. He has advised on a wide variety of transactions, including sellside and buyside M&A, equity and debt financings, valuations, and strategic advisory engagements. Mr. Hew regularly moderates or participates on panels at industry conferences.
Previously, Mr. Hew was a Vice President at MVP Capital, an independent advisory firm that provides a range of advisory services to clients in the technology, media, and telecommunications sector, prior to its acquisition by Houlihan Lokey in 2020. While there, his responsibilities centered around M&A advisory, financings, valuation, and strategic advisory engagements for middle-market firms across the telecommunications industry.
Prior to joining MVP Capital, Mr. Hew was an Associate at The Chart Group, a boutique investment bank based in New York, where he primarily worked on transactions within the aerospace, defense, and oil and gas industries.
Mr. Hew holds a degree in Finance from the University of British Columbia.
