Mr. Hussein is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Capital Markets Group, where he leads the firm’s delivery of minority equity solutions, including growth capital and structured products, across the wider EMEA region for ambitious companies in a range of sectors. He is based in the firm’s London office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Hussein spent five years exclusively focused on the private capital markets space globally, where he worked on the sourcing and structuring of capital across the globe in senior positions. His mandate has always been sector-, geography-, and capital-agnostic, leveraging his experience across various roles.
Mr. Hussein’s previous experience includes more than a decade in Dubai, where he spent a couple of years with the region’s largest lifestyle conglomerate, Majid Al Futtaim Holding, spearheading its M&A strategy and its venture capital deployment strategy. He also worked for eight years with EFG Hermes, the largest regional investment bank, where he advised on a variety of ECM, M&A, and PCM transactions.
Mr. Hussein holds a first-class honours degree in Physics from University College London.
